You’ll receive your half off your first bill offer up to $200 after your first 50 days on this plan and paying your first bill in full and on time. You must complete the Energy Mullet bill credit form online and upload a copy of your first Spark Energy bill or your first monthly bill showing Spark Energy as your electric supply company. Allow 4-6 weeks for processing.
Customers who sign up and are successfully enrolled and are accepted by the local utility for the Energy Mullet 12-month and 24-month plan are eligible to receive half off their first Spark Energy electricity bill in the form of a bill credit for customers in Texas and in the from of a Virtual MasterCard for consumers in Michigan and Maryland.
Customers must have an active account with Spark Energy in good standing, not pending cancellation, and remain on qualifying plan at time of half off your first bill credit processing to receive this bill credit and must submit the form within ninety (90) days of service with Spark Energy.
Yes. The Virtual Master Card will be sent to you over email. You must have a valid-email address on file to be eligible to receive your Virtual MasterCard for consumers in Michigan and Maryland. Consumers in Texas will receive the half off their first Spark Energy electricity bill offer in the form of a bill credit up to $200. We encourage all Spark Energy customers to provide us with with their email address to receive the latest news and updates about Spark Energy offers.
The rate includes your energy price per kilowatt-hour (kWh) or therm. The rate also includes charges that help deliver energy to your home, such as the base charge and delivery charges from your Transmission and Distribution Utility. Some of these charges are fixed and others depend on your usage. You can find your energy price per kWh and other charges in your EFL.
When you sign up for an energy supply plan, you’ll be able to choose the day you start service.
You can sign up by typing your zip code and clicking “VIEW PLANS” above. If you’re moving to a new address, just use the address of your new home to fill out your service address information. If you’re switching from another electricity provider, we’ll let them know about your switch.
Terms and Conditions:
The half off your first electricity bill (“bill credit”) and (Virtual MasterCard*”) applies to the Energy Mullet fixed rate 12-month supply plans and Energy Mullet fixed rate 24-month energy supply plans up to $200. If you enrolled in the Energy Mullet 12-month supply service plan, you are eligible to receive half off your first Spark Energy electricity bill in the form of a bill credit or Virtual MasterCard when you sign up, are successfully enrolled and are accepted by the local utility. If you enrolled in the Energy Mullet 24-month supply service plan, you are eligible to receive half off your first Spark Energy electricity bill in the form of a bill credit or Virtual MasterCard when you sign up, are successfully enrolled and are accepted by the local utility.
You must follow the steps listed below to claim your half off your first bill offer:

- Attached a copy of your first monthly Spark Energy electricity bill or your first month bill showing Spark Energy as your electric supply company.
- Limit one bill credit or Virtual MasterCard totaling half off your first bill up to $200 per account.
- Customers must have an active account with Spark Energy in good standing, not pending cancellation, and remain on qualifying plan at time of half off your first bill credit processing to receive this bill credit and must submit the form within ninety (90) days of service with Spark Energy.
- Allow 4-6 weeks for processing.
- The half off your first bill credit or Virtual MasterCard will be credited or issue via email to the account holder of record.
- You must have a valid-email address on file to be eligible to receive your Virtual MasterCard.
